Roseola Virus

On wednessday when eric went to pick kinley up from our friends house. Heather (the friend who watches her) asked eric if she was feeling well because she took a 3 hour long nap and then another 1 1/2 hour long nap that afternoon and just seemed not herself! Eric took her home, where she just cuddled up to him on the coach (definetely not herself) she would normally be running all over the place...When I got home and took her temperature it was up to 102.4! So we gave her some medicine and about midnight the fever finally broke. The next day the fever stayed around 100.0 and she was acting a little better...Than last night I noticed this rash appearing on her back and stomach....I kinda thought it was chicken pox at first, because it was just small dot. But It looked much more like a rash in the morning! We asked a PA in our ward, who told us that it was definetely Roseola! So Wahoo for no chicken pox! :) She is still happy as can be, but it is a pretty ugly little rash!

This was the day I found the rash...as you can tell it definetely isn't affecting her...we were playing dress up with her new outfit i bought online ha!

Tonight was the PAVA (Wives Optometry Club) Family Halloween Party! I had bought this cute little leather jacket for kinley last year at a garage sale in hopes we could dress up as bikers this year for halloween! We had a good time and kinley got lots of comments on how cute she looked! Thanks to friends who let us borrow the tattoo sleeves and dew rags :) they made our outfits perfect!! SO FUN!!

We had bought a groupon earlier this year to go to the Newport Aquarium and this was the last weekend we could go before it expired! We got up early this morning and headed to the coast. We were happy we waited this long to go because kinley got so much more out of it! She loved seeing all the little fishies and animals! She was pointing and gabbing away...it was so fun to watch her! I can't believe how fast she is growing up!!!!!
