This friday my boss invited Carrie and I out on the boat with the girls....The weather was perfect and we had a great time... This was kind of our last Hoorah before I leave oregon for good! Kinley wouldn't get all the way in the water, but she had a really good time splashing her feet off the back of the boat. Wish we could have done this more often with you guys!! Thanks for such a good time!

Alphabet magnets!

Kinleys new obsession is these alphabet magnets. My friend Laura who watches kinley on the days I work has these magnets and kinley loves them. So I went searching on my weekly garage sales and finally found them! She has actually gotten pretty good at her alphabet even though she doesn't sing it all the way through on this video! She's one smart little cookie!

4th of July FUN!

Today was such a fun day! We started out the day going to the Hillsboro Parade. Kinley had a pretty good time there, she loved seeing the horses and puppies all around. Then after her nap we headed over to the splash pad with some friends. She loves playing in the water and she gets so excited and enthusiastic about everything. I could watch her play there all day if we could! She scraped her knees a few times though :( sad. After the splash pad we headed back to the house to have a barbque with some friends and then to the park to play some more! Then we went back to the house (she was extremely cranky at this point) to put her to bed and decided to do a little firework show before we layed her down. She absolutely loved it...Her favorite was the little poppers and the sparklers. She was a little more timid about the bigger stuff! She is such a funny little girl and I'm so glad we were able to spend the whole day together as a family. We are so greatful for those that serve our country and for the opportunity we have to live here! Happy 4th of July Everyone!!!!

**Dare Devil**

This little girl is such a dare devil...Not only does she have to climb on her car, but she has to climb up on top of the steering wheel of her car to reach the things that she wants!!! Can anyone say emergency room waiting to happen! Yes I think we are going to have fun with her!!!

This weekend we decided to pack the bags and head to Newport for the weekend (before our groupon for a hotel down here expired). The weather channel said it was supposed to be rainy most of the time and around 58 degrees. But when we got down there it was absolutely GORGEOUS, we couldn't have asked for a better weekend. We stopped in Lincoln City for the Kite festival that happened to be going on. Kinley loved watching all the different kinds of kites. They even had some cool professional kite flyers doing some routines to music, it was pretty neat! We also stopped at the outlet malls there, and picked up some good stuff. Then we headed for the beach and let kinley go to town in the ocean! It amazes me that she doesn't seem to mind the FREEZING COLD water! We also got to play in the hotel pool and we got to watch a movie after kinley was asleep on the laptop. We love being able to getaway as a family occassionally and I'm glad that the groupon forced us to go, because we had a blast. We are definetely going to miss these after we leave Oregon.
