Well I am now 33 weeks along, so a little past 8 months...It has been going ok until I got a cold this week and i have been miserable...it started with a sore throat then I had a runny nose and started sneezing...and then today I have had a really bad cough on top of all of it!! I almost fainted at work this morning too and had to leave early...The ultrasound today went pretty good, I absolutely loved my ultrasound tech as you can tell by the pictures, she was so fun! We got to see a lot of fun shots of our baby, and I know the quality isn't that great in these pictures but I tried my best with the camera!! Our baby is in the 40th percentile for weight and height...she weighs about 4 lbs 6 oz...and she looks great! The only bad news was that the blood vessell and placenta haven't moved from the last ultrasound...so as of right now I am going to be doing a c-section...I have to go back for another ultrasound in 1 month and that will determine for sure what the verdict will be!! So there is still hope for natural birth :) Either way I can't wait to start our little family and not be pregnant anymore!!!

This weekend Chase and Alex called and invited us to go camping up at Timothy Lake (Which is at the base of MT. Hood) with some of their friends from their ward...We got there Saturday afternoon and decided to go fishing first..It was pretty darn cold and windy along the bank and Alex caught the only fish...We were told that nobody was getting anything, and with the conditions the way they were I wasn't surprised, but alex apparently can catch a fish anywhere ha... After fishing we went back and had lunch and just hung out at the fire...For dinner we had tin foil dinners and then we helped Chase put together a very very good peach cobbler..Thank you Chase for satisfying the pregnant woman with her cobbler craving :).....The rest of the time we just hungout and talked by the fire...Night time wasn't to bad. I was praying I wouldn't have to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, but that was pretty much inevitable...The next morning we had Donuts and hot chocolate and then me and eric packed up and headed home....We had such a fun time!!! Thanks for the invite guys~!

7 Months Pregnant/Erics Wasp Sting!!

Last night while eric was working at the Golf Course he went in the trees to get some golf balls and got stung by a Bald Faced Hornet. Apparently they are pretty mean little buggers, and they got him right on his forhead...He kept working until he noticed it was starting to feel kinda big and asked one of the workers what it looked like...They made him stop immediately and head over to the ambulance there on the course (from the lpga tour)...Everyone kept telling him he looked like Will Smith off of Hitch, haha....By the time he got home and I saw it the swelling had gone down quite a bit, so I'm sure it looked bigger than the pictures are even showing!! But hey it got him out of work the next morning, so he can't complain to much!!!

I am now 29 weeks along and I'm feeling good....Things went really well at the ultrasound on Friday. The Doctor said that the placenta and the blood vessel are moving up and aren't covering over the cervix anymore :)! So according to my Doctor It's a miracle~! He said If it goes up even more by my next ultrasound in 3 1/2 weeks that I might not even have to do a c-section...So Thank you everyone for all of your prayers and thoughts, it has blessed us more than you know!! This month has been going really well, no complaints from the pregnant lady...

Dr. Appointment

Well It has been awhile since I updated this about our little baby girl, so I thought I better keep a record of what is going on....The last ultrasound I had (about 3 weeks ago) the doctor came in and told me that I now not only have placenta previa, but I also have Vasa Previa..This means that the baby's blood vessell is hanging over my cervix, which is not a good thing...If anything happens to that blood vessell then we could lose the baby...So he put me on Moderate rest, which just means I can't excerice, go for long walks, lift heavy things, etc. So I have still been able to work which is nice! Needless to say, I have been taking it pretty easy for the past 3 weeks...Then today I had my Glucose test along with another doctor appointment and things went pretty good...She explained to me a little better the situation and told me that I will most likely be delivering the baby early (end of Sept. beginning of Oct.) She doesn't think that the vessel and placenta will move up enough by the next ultrasound..and they dont want any chance of me contracting or going into labor at all which means I would be delivering early... She also told me that my chance of going on bed rest is pretty high, considering everything going on...So I go in for my next Ultrasound on August 20th and hopefully we will have good news~! No problems with this pregnancy from here on out would be awesome haha...But we will see!

For the 4th of july week we had the opportunity to go up to Brianhead and stay at a very nice cabin with all of erics family. We had such a good time playing games, relaxing and spending time with the family. The boys had a lot of fun playing with their airsoft guns outside and we had a good time riding around on the Razor. Thanks mom and dad for such a fun week!!! We were also able to go to St. George for a few days before brianhead...Eric was able to shadow some optometrists and we were able to see some friends and have some fun! Robin (my cousin) threw me a little baby shower and that was a blast, Thanks Robin your the best! Overall I would say we had a very good vacation and it definetely did not feel long enough!!

6 Months Prego

I am now 6 months pregnant, looking at the picture you can tell i'm carrying her pretty high... I can finally feel her kicking me :) it went from not feeling anything to not being able to get her to stop...It's probably been my favorite part of being pregnant so far, I love feeling her move around! Eric got to feel her about the same time I did and he loves getting to feel her and watch her kick too! I'm starting to get a little uncomfortable at night, but I still sleep pretty good. All the bad things about the first part of pregnancy are gone (smells arent' as bad anymore, I can eat whatever now, headaches aren't as often, I don't throw up at all, etc.) I have another ultrasound on Friday to see if my placenta has gone up, so we are crossing our fingers!

5 Months!

My belly is starting to GROW...I feel so big ha! I had my 5month doctor appointment the other day and she informed me that I do have Placenta Previa and that my placenta was completely covering my cervix. So we are hoping that it will raise up in the next 2 months, otherwise I have to have a c-section :(.... The only good thing about this is that I get a couple more ultrasounds to see my baby girl!! My morning sickness is pretty much completely gone, so that is nice! Its seems like all I do is Eat, Sleep, Work, and Pee....I've started to get the 2nd trimester headaches now, and I have a few spots on my skin that have darkened (apparently from estrogen), i'm just glad it isn't on my face where people can see it! Anyway that pretty much sums up where I am at right now!!
