Stolen Car :(

So me and Eric woke up this morning to my car missing out of our driveway...yup thats right our car was stolen!!!! Our home teachers were nice enough to point out that my car wasn't in the driveway, so we immediately called the police and reported it missing!! We only had liability insurance on it also, so that means if it isn't found we are just out of luck!! I'm just hoping that somebody ditched it somewhere and we will find it soon!!! So it looks like eric will be riding his bike to school now, ha...The funny thing is me and eric were talking a week ago about how nobody would come into our little culda sac and vandalize our car (there have been several break-ins, etc. to people in our ward)...now i'm wishing they would have just broke into the car haha! OH BROTHER...Everybody pray that we can find it!!! :)

Erics parents came into town on saturday night and we have been having a blast since they got here. Saturday we went out to dinner, and showed them around the temple. Then sunday we had a nice roast dinner and played games all night. Then monday we decided to take them around the coast. We first went to Tillamook Cheese Factory to see how all the cheese was made and get some yummy ice cream. Then we headed to Cape Mears to see if we could see some whales....No luck in the department, but we did get to see quite a few seals that were swimming along the shore line. Then we drove up to Cannon beach and had some salt water taffy, fish and chips, and just toured around the small town. We have had so much fun having them here, its been pretty cold and gloomy, but we made a trip out of it for them! Now they are heading off to Hawaii tomorrow and we are heading home to Missouri with my family for Christmas! We love Christmas Break!!

I GOT A JOB! FINALLY!

Yesterday was a very good day. I was laying in bed thinking, "well eric is going golfing this morning and I am once again going to be sitting it home with absolutely nothing to do". When all of the sudden the phone rang and sure enough it was the temping agency letting me know they had a temp job for me that day! So I jumped out of bed and got ready for work and headed to an office about an hour away, I was just happy I had something to do that day! Then as I was driving home that night I had a voicemail. And sure enough it was the dental office I had interviewed with earlier this week offering me the Dental Hygiene Position. Yes thats right, I have finally gotten a dental hygiene job! I am going to be working on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting next week for Dr. Nelson. His office is in McMinnville, OR. and its about 35-40 minutes away from our house. I was starting to worry there for awhile that I was never going to find anything. I was so excited last night that I couldn't stop smiling. Me and eric ended up finishing off this wonderful night by ordering a pizza (that we won), and going bowling free with some friends of ours. Every thursday night from 7-9 the Optometry students and wifes can bowl free. You gotta love small towns, man what a great day!

We finally got to visit the Roloff farm with Chase and Alex...We had been planning and talking about it for months! For those of you who don't know who the roloffs are, they are a family on TLC a reality show called Little People, Big World! They live here in Hillsboro about 10 min. from our house and they do this big pumpkin farm every year! Anyway we had a great time and definetely will be back again next year! Thanks again Chase and Alex for such a fun weekend, we needed it!

Bored out of my MIND!

Well we figured we should write something, since we haven't in awhile. Eric has been super busy with school...he has one or two tests a week along with a couple quizzes to add to his stress! So between studying and school I don't see him a whole lot. I finally signed with a temping agency for work because my efforts in finding a job by myself weren't working. But I haven't gotten any work with them yet either, soooo that leaves me at home all alone :(! I have been trying to keep myself busy, but it isn't easy...We are just counting down the days until our fall break in November and then we get to drive down to Provo for Thanksgiving and we can't wait!

Me and Eric decided to get out of the house for Labor Day and head toward the coast with our Canadian friends :)! Our first stop was the Tillamook Cheese Factory. We got to try a bunch of different types of cheese and had the best ice cream/waffle cones around. Then we headed over to Cape Mears to see if we could see and whales. Apparently it's not the season yet for them so we didn't see any, but hopefully next time we will! We had a good time checking out all the fun attractions and just enjoying the beautiful weather. Eric definetely needed this little break, he had his first week of school and its going to be a tough semester for him! As for me I have a couple job offers and I am trying to figure out the perfect schedule for them. So hopefully by the end of the month I will be working full time!
